TedXUofM Logo
Branding | Design | Content Strategy
As part of my work in the TedXUofM Creative Design team, I was enlisted to create a logo for their 15th annual conference. The theme of the conference was “Golden Ratio” so I was tasked with integrating this theme into a simple and distinct logo that would represent the conference for the 23-24 year. The final logo I created ended up being crucial in promoting the conference, being used in flyers, merchandise, social media posts, and various other conference-related promotional materials and events.
Design Objective
The initial objective was to design a sleek and distinctive logo for the 2024 TedxUofM Conference. 
The aim was to ensure that the logo directly communicates this year's theme - the Golden Ratio - and to make sure that it can be easily incorporated into a variety of promotional materials like flyers, social media posts, and posters.
Ideation + Research
After a brainstorming session with the rest of the creative design team, I created a series of sketches incorporating the various ideas the team came up with.
I then turned each of my sketches into drafts in Adobe Illustrator before the TedxUofM Gen team voted on which design to move forward with.
Implementation
Once the logo was finalized, it was used by various teams across TedxUofM in flyers across campus, merchandise such as shirts and other apparel, social media posts, and various other conference-related promotional materials and events.
